2020-05-04Use Python 3 for mod_wsgi in cyborg and monasca on Debian/UbuntuMark Goddard2-2/+2
In Train kolla switched to Python 3 in Debian and Ubuntu source images. For services running under httpd with mod_wsgi, they should install libapache2-mod-wsgi-py3 rather than libapache2-mod-wsgi. This was done for most images, but cyborg and monasca were omitted. This change fixes that. Change-Id: I25cfa62dbf20490685617b4a4185bf95ab91725e Closes-Bug: #1873421

2020-04-26Revert "Add stunnel container for Glance service"Radosław Piliszek1-15/+0
This reverts commit 935adb59131caf66455a7d59c2af7cc42186e282. It seems we cannot use stunnel on Ubuntu because of no support for current OpenSSL. See [1]. We have some alternatives to replace stunnel: - HAProxy (image ready; in progress) - Apache2 (only embedded, no image) - Nginx (possibly in the future) [1] https://review.opendev.org/707131 Change-Id: If1140b293423ad3173cb3a4e1f19abbfecdaf2f6

2020-04-17kibana/debian: use upstream package on all architecturesMarcin Juszkiewicz2-10/+14
Upstream kibana package ships x86_64 binaries of NodeJS. I usually repacked package without them to have something for other architectures. Instead let us install upstream. Then on non-x86 archs we add nodejs from distribution and remove x86-64 binaries. Change-Id: Ia9feac726a60250215b1bc78bf90dc68ac6f956a

2020-04-15Remove support for CentOS 7Marcin Juszkiewicz71-1088/+156
With the move to RHEL/CentOS 8 we no longer have Python 2 in our images so there is no need for checking which Python version (2.x or 3.x) is used inside of containers. We also no longer have to support yum as a value for distro_package_manager. Partially-Implements: blueprint centos-rhel-8 Change-Id: Ie45cf3465fedddbde7856961527421883ba3d5c9

2020-04-11Allow operators to use "ceilometer-upgrade" parametersRafael Weingärtner1-1/+1
Allow operators to use custom parameters with the ceilometer-upgrade command. This is quite useful when using the dynamic pollster subsystem; that sub-system provides flexibility to create and edit pollsters configs, which affects gnocchi resource-type configurations. However, Ceilometer uses default and hard-coded resource-type configurations; if one customizes some of its default resource-types, he/she can get into trouble during upgrades. Therefore, the only way to work around it is to use the "--skip-gnocchi-resource-types" flag. This PR introduces a method for operators to execute such customization, and many others if needed.
