2019-08-19Use openstack-tempest-all for rpm tempest containerChandan kumar1-1/+1
openstack-tempest shipped from RDO does not have the tempest plugins, It has just tempest cli and library. https://review.opendev.org/#/c/651601/ updated the rpm package name while solving different issue and TripleO stein CI, most of the tempest tests are getting skipped as tempest plugins are not there. openstack-tempest-all is the meta package contains all the plugins, and installing that fixes the issue. 2019-06-06Switch to RDO Stein release on CentOS & OracleMark Goddard1-1/+1
This change switches from the Delorean yum repositories to the RDO Stein release repository. centos-release-openstack-stein pulls in centos-release-ceph-nautilus, which conflicts with upstream ceph packages. Disable the CentOS Ceph repo to work around this. Change-Id: I1df5dd28adc65ff461a893b60c57d7b5da96d653
2019-05-06Reuse /var/lib/tempest symlink for rpm alsoChandan Kumar1-5/+2
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/605980/ with this review in tripleo, we use /var/lib/tempest path but in kolla tempest dockerfile /usr/share/openstack-tempest is used which is not mounted in tripleo deployment. Let's reuse the same volume with tempest container instead of /usr/share/openstack-tempest. 2019-01-17Use base_package_typeAlex Schultz1-2/+2
This change updates the docker files to use base_package_type instead of doing specific distro checks for the rhel/deb generic cases. The base_distro is still available and is used when a specific distro needs a customization but if the differences are purely rpm vs deb, then the base_package_type can be used. 2018-07-20Added tempest user for tempest containerChandan Kumar1-0/+4
* Currently on using tempest container, everything is running as a root user under the container. All the test data when copied from container to host, have different permission. In order to consume those data we need to change permission. Adding tempest user to tempest container fix the issue. * New user can pass --user 'tempest' with docker run to consume it. * It does not affect the workflow of tempest container used in tripleo ci. 2018-01-24Include building python-tempestconf from source in TempestChandan Kumar1-0/+8
* python-tempestconf is an automatic Tempest config generator. Currently it is used in RefStack and Tripleo projects and installed directly RDO shipped tempest RPM package. It would be good to include in Tempest container so that it can be while using tempest container image from source. * http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/python-tempestconf Change-Id: I47e812427343b16662378381e96ab354904256c5

2017-04-04debian: enable all images enabled for UbuntuMarcin Juszkiewicz1-1/+1
Debian support is not maintained in Kolla so it got a bit behind Ubuntu one. This changeset enables Debian for all images. Jessie (even with backports) may be too old for some images though. Also unify distro check to ['debian', 'ubuntu'] to keep alphabetical order like it is done for RPM distributions. 2016-09-13Add header blocks to all DockerfilesPaul Bourke1-0/+2
Change needed to add header blocks to all Dockerfiles, similar to the base. Use case is to easily run something before packages are installed, e.g. to COPY a local rpm in that can be added to the package list. Change-Id: I1bbfdf0b762da0a392aa8bf47781315b45377bee Closes-Bug: 1618969
2016-08-19Handle empty package list for install_packagesShaun Smekel1-1/+1
Currently if the install_packages macro is run with an empty package list, it will add a yum or apt-get command with no packages listed. This bug fix aims to omit this line when no packages have been given, or, the operator wants to use the "_override" / "_remove" functionality to disable all packages being installed in a Dockerfile.
