MariaDB-* packages are from external 'x86_64 only' repository. Other architectures use CentOS packages. Split needs to be done as 'mariadb-devel' is provided by three different packages on x86-64. Debian support is not maintained in Kolla so it got a bit behind Ubuntu one. This changeset enables Debian for all images. Jessie (even with backports) may be too old for some images though. Also unify distro check to ['debian', 'ubuntu'] to keep alphabetical order like it is done for RPM distributions. Currently if the install_packages macro is run with an empty package list, it will add a yum or apt-get command with no packages listed. Just like last cycle, I ran all of the requirements and found the packages that were installed >=10 times throughout our containers. The build of MySQL-python started to fail after the update to Percona-Server-devel-56-5.6.27-rel76.0.el7.x86_64 with: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lmysqlclient It appears Percona-Server-devel package provides a broken /usr/lib64/libmysqlclient.so that points to nonexistent libmysqlclient.so.18.
