2014-10-20Implement containers for heat-engine and heat-apiJeff Peeler2-9/+69
Loosely followed this document for setting up Heat: http://docs.openstack.org/icehouse/install-guide/install/yum/content/heat-install.html Some gotchas: - crux doesn't require escaping parenthesis for endpoint creation like keystone client - heat icehouse packages are configured for qpid, so kombu had to be specified specifically This firewall reference was handy for port information: http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/config-reference/content/firewalls-default-ports.html Implements: blueprint kube-heat-container Change-Id: Ie4291a6c4c2b85a23a71fc0a003d9160bf0a32b8
2014-10-04introduce a new build mechanismLars Kellogg-Stedman2-4/+1
This patch replaces the collection of individual "build" scripts with a single script (tools/build-docker-image), made available as "build" inside each image directory. The build-docker-image script will, by default, build images tagged with the current commit id in order to prevent developers from accidentally stepping on each other or on release images. Documentation in docs/image-building.md describes the script in more detail. Change-Id: I444d5c2256a85223f8750a0904cb4b07f18ab67f

Build all docker images one at a time or with one top level call
2014-09-20Add heat api and engine docker boilerplatesSteven Dake1-0/+10
This adds a directory layout for Heat based on the Glance setup, but does not actually attempt to build functional images at this time.
