The debian-binary-horizon image is missing the default policies files which should be in /etc/openstack-dashboard/default_policies. By copying everything from /etc/openstack-dashboard/policy into /etc/openstack-dashboard, we get the default policy files, as well as commented out policy files (e.g. cinder_policy.yaml) and the nova_policy.d directory containing api-extensions.yaml. Change was merged for ubuntu in [1] but unfortunatelly not for debian, this trivial patch fixes it also for debian. 2021-06-28[CI] Do not set ansible_python_interpreter for ZuulRadosław Piliszek3-12/+7
Zuul 4.6.0 does not allow to set ansible_python_interpreter. [1] Instead, with the current Zuul and Ansible, this should be automatically set to the proper python. This patch is required to restore the jobs which are ignored otherwise. [2] [3] Additionally, this change avoids the use of Ansible's pip module because it tries to use setuptools from the ansible_python_interpreter first even if another executable is set. The "internal error: unknown feature amd-sev-es" error in libvirt seen with the edk2-ovmf package is fixed by a commit in libvirt 7.4.0 [0] to avoid erroring out on unknown QEMU firmware features. CentOS Stream 8 was wrongly using the CentOS 8 advanced-virtualization repository [1] instead of the CentOS Stream 8 one [2]. This is fixed by centos-release-advanced-virtualization-1.0-3 [3], which should bring libvirt-7.4.0-1 into our nova-libvirt image. This reverts commit 1a2c33512b6c4bdcdbf7d7bb08e791fb53e4f063. At the Kolla Xena PTG [1] we discussed making some changes to the release process, as well as improving documentation around some of the less well documented steps. Since then, a draft proposal was circulated [2], and discussed in IRC meetings [3]. This change updates the release management documentation based on the agreed process. It also includes Kayobe release steps which were previously documented separately [4]. The recent inclusion of Fluentd 1.12.x in Centos/Ubuntu packages causes a significant number of logs to fail to appear in the Elasticsearch or Monasca output plugins. The logs appear to sit in a local buffer, and are only flushed when Fluentd is restarted. The same issue persists in the most recent release (1.13.0), so for now we pin the td-agent package to 4.0.* which should restrict Fluentd to the 1.11.x release where we don't see this issue.
