A few new images got apache as part of blueprint apache-packages-for-apis without a cleaning up. Without this step the containers may fail to restart due to runtime files already present. This commit fixes it for all images with the exception of heat-base so that it can be cleanly backported to stable/ocata. This changes moves cinder-api to make use of apache to launch its processes. Ubuntu binary removed support in Ocata for cinder-api system services [1]. At this moment cinder in Ocata branch is not working at all due this issue. This changes aims to fix cinder in master only for ubuntu binary with the purpose of make a clean backport to stable/ocata without do any other change on the backport process. A follow up change will migrate other OS/install_type to make use of Apache but only changing master branch. Oracle have released a slimmed down version of their base image, using the tag '7-slim'[0]. This is over half the size of the standard image. Note, right now the default base tags are also used to check that we're building on a supported distro version, e.g. oraclelinux:7. This breaks when we want to set a default base tag that is different to what's in /etc/system-release or /etc/lsb-release, e.g. 7-slim. Decouple this info so we have access to both sets of data. Previously, the images were copied locally in the tests as an attempt to ensure test isolation but the parent image was still pointing to the global object. This commit updates the images to point to the local copies. Rename the images to have more descriptive names and fix an issue in test_skip_parents where the regex parameter was passed as a string while it should be an array, that appeared once the images had their correct parents. This change updates the ironic-inspector image to use the ironic-inspector user rather than the ironic user to execute the ironic inspector service as this more closely aligns with what is typically done by downstream packagers (specifically, Ubuntu and RDO). This change rebases the ironic-inspector image onto the openstack-base image instead of the ironic-base image. We configure an ironic-inspector user and use this to execute the ironic-inspector service. We also configure ironic-inspector to log to /var/log/kolla/ironic-inspector instead of the previous ironic location. Following this change we no longer need the workaround of a sudoers file for the binary install type that was added in change I8ecd0b658b8df8f38ddf717fa9443d4dc2896984. We download a large number of packages from trunk.rdoproject.org, the OpenStack Infra team has setup a per-region caching proxy to speed up builds and reduce reliance on the internet. This patch switches builds to use the new mirror and also stops defining our own mirror variables and rely on the one provided by nodepool instead. As part of this patch, we also drop getting the delorean.repo file from buildlogs.centos.org as it could be out of sync and essentially broken (until the job to sync runs).
